Ingredients - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour - 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder - 1 teaspoon salt - 1 cup granulated sugar - 1 cup milk - 1 large egg - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted - Butter or oil for greasing the pan Instructions 1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. 2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter. 3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter should still be slightly lumpy. 4. Let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes to allow the flour to absorb the liquid ingredients. 5. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grease the pan with butter or oil. 6. Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, scoop the batter onto the pan. 7. Cook the pancakes for 2-3 minutes, until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges start to dry. 8.
